Courageous Conversations: Why Boys and Men Should Be Involved in Gender Equality

Posted by on Nov 17, 2022

What role should boys and men play in the gender equality movement?

Globally, the resources that support gender equality work are scant. Therefore, many activists believe these resources should focus only on programs for girls and women. Others strongly feel that the gender equality movement will not move forward without the inclusion of boys and men.

In this Courageous Conversation facilitated by Girl Child Long Walk Senior Project Consultant Marie-Rose Romain Murphy, Tearfund Coordinator Caroline Onwuezobe (Nigeria) and Girl Child Long Walk Fellow Patrick Musembi (Kenya) share how inclusion can help us build a better world.

Both Caroline and Patrick included informative and powerful presentations during the conversation. They graciously shared these with us so the slides would be easier to view.
